Kelvin Hudson set up his photography business after several years as an assistant in London and Los Angeles.
His career and personal projects / portfolios have lead him over all over the globe. 
The most creative advertising agencies in Dublin, London, New York, San Francisco, North Carolina, Amsterdam, Hamburg have commissioned Kelvin to shoot for Billboards (48,96,12) and press and magazine ads. These include : Saatchi and Saatchi, Abbot Mead and Vickers, BMP, BBH, Y&R,TBWA and Ogilvy and Mather.
Advertising campaigns ran for British Airways, Smirnoff, British Rail, Citroen, Kodak, British Gas, Karol, Tetley Bitter, and Yorkshire TV. He also provided his services for free on numerous charity accounts which include NSPCC and Mencap.
Kelvin has worked extensively for top AD Agencies in New York on campaigns for New Balance, Canadian Airways, Otis, Jaguar, Nenex, IBM, Chesterfield and Air France as well as numerous press and magazine ads.
An Advertising campaign for Hewlett Packard (16 ads appearing all over N.America, Canada and parts of Asia) commissioned by Goodby Silverstein, San Francisco won Gold in The One Show awards and San Francisco Addy awards.
Kelvin has worked on editorial commissions for The Sunday Times Magazine, The Observer, The Sunday Telegraph Magazine and Management Today.
Numerous clients from Dublin include Tourism Ireland, Bord Fáilte, Guinness, Ballgown, Bulmers (Magners), Bank of Ireland, A.I.B, Kelloggs,Tullamore Dew, BMW, Heinz, Vodafone, Lotto, Wexford  Cheese, Visa, Eircom, Bord Bia, Bord Gais, Irish Times and Hennessy,
Other awards won have been: Ilford Print Award, John Kobal Portrait award, Benson and Hedges Photography awards, Epica's, The Association Of Photographers (UK) including a cover of the awards book. Numerous golds and silvers in the Irish Creative Advertising Awards (I.C.A.D).
Exhibitions include Hamiltons Gallery London, Ogilvy NY, Saatchi and Saatchi London, Young and Rubicon gallery as well as various group exhibitions such as the London Portrait Gallery, The Association of Photographers, The Photographers Gallery London, The Blue Leaf Gallery Dublin. Personal Photographic projects are always at the forefront of Kelvin's motivation. The passion for photography is as intense as when he first picked up a plastic camera given to him on his 5th birthday from his Uncle Eric (from tokens collected from a cereal packet) His Dads encouragement  and introduction to the darkroom, and an Agfa Silette, which is laid to rest at the bottom of the Oxford Canal don't ask!  Many early influences include Bill Brandt, Robert Frank, Edward S Curtis etc and not forgetting John Claridge whom I worked with.
Books and exhibitions are in production . Especially  'The Sweeps of Berlin' which requires sponsorship!
